I dream a certain kind of blue. Deep clenched and narrow,
Something louder - close to Brueghel in his blooms.
Anchored in trust and beliefs, my reason sways by the roadside.
Exhibiting states of fugue, she mentioned I should never stop.
I'll hang on to this, even if I take fright.
I seek a mistress in the brood, incising starlight on the back of sleepless lovers in the nude.
Who whistles loud and up to noon - the songs on which I ran aground dreaming of Caribbean dunes.
Who bares the desk facing the street, who whispers promises, soft suicides smothered in sheets.

This is music that softly, gently, melodically improves the atmosphere. I first heard Rachel via The Dolly Mixture. That music helped me find beauty while living in a rough childhood home. I later ran away, taking my Dolly Mixture cassette with me. Many decades on, life's difficult, the world is troubled, but Rachel's music once again adds an element of beauty. Her music is something to cherish. Cheers, Rachel. Andy Waltzer
